If you are looking for a beach getaway this winter, look no further than New Smyrna Beach! From relaxing villas big enough to fit the whole family to delicious restaurants to seasonal entertainment, New Smyrna Beach is the perfect place to escape the cold weather and recharge.
Where to Stay
Whether you are planning a romantic couple’s getaway or a larger reunion with family or friends, the Joy by the Sea villas are the perfect place to stay! You can choose between their studio or one bedroom villas that sleep 4-8 people or upgrade into one of the resort’s oceanfront villas that can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Where to Eat
For Breakfast
Luma
New Smyrna Beach’s newest coffee shop! Luma is the perfect spot to grab a matcha and breakfast sandwich and relax in their outdoor space.
GoJuice
Start you day off on a healthy note with a freshly made juice, smoothie, or smoothie bowl at GoJuice food truck.
The Third Wave
This internationally inspired cafe is a must on your trip to New Smyrna Beach! Located on Flagler Avenue, it is the perfect spot to grab brunch in a relaxed outdoor setting.
For Dinner
The Baker’s Table
If you are looking for a cozy date night spot, look no further than the Baker’s Table. From their food to their service, everything here is a 10/10! I highly recommend trying their ‘Goat Cheese Tart”, you won’t regret it!
The General Public House
Located right in the heart of New Smyrna Beach’s Canal Street, The General Public House is a great spot for dinner and drinks after an afternoon of shopping.
What to Do
Drive on the Beach
One of the most unique things about New Smyrna Beach is that you can drive your car right on to the beach! Pack your beach gear in the trunk and head to the beach roadway entrance on Flagler Avenue.
Take an Art Class at The Hub on Canal
The Hub on Canal is more than just an art gallery. It is a place for the community. The Hub along with their sister gallery, Jane’s Art Center, host many concerts, events, art classes and youth programs throughout the year. From oil painting workshops to harmonica classes to book clubs, The Hub’s event calendar is worth checking out while you’re in New Smyrna Beach!
Explore the Local Shops
During your visit, explore the local shops on both Flagler Avenue and Canal Street for unique items and souvenirs to remember your visit.
