Recently I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Xcaret Arte and I can’t recommend it enough! There is truly nothing that compares to this unique hotel. Below I am breaking down for you everything you need to know before you go.
Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Hotel Xcaret Arte – What is the Difference?
I’ll admit, before I visited I didn’t know much about the differences between these two hotels. Personally, I don’t think there is a big enough difference between the two to affect which one you book. The properties are located right next to each other and connected to the point where you don’t always know where one hotel ends and the other begins. Both hotels have that unique glass pool and access to all the amenities on property. I think the only real difference that I noticed is that Mexico was built first while Arte only just opened and is a bit newer.
The Rooms
Almost every room on property comes with both a balcony or a hammock and some have the option of having swim up access to the pool. The rooms have a very traditional design, a spacious shower, and some of the most comfortable robes I have ever experiences in a hotel.
Where to Eat
Hotel Xcaret has many delicious restaurants to choose from! What also sets them apart is that a lot of their restaurants are set in unique locations. From dining inside of a cave to eating by the pool – they really take your meals to the next level!

Take in the Views at the Iconic Glass Rooftop Pool
By far one of the most unique features on the property is the glass rooftop pool. I highly recommend the view during sunset!

Hotel Xcaret is an expansive property. You could spend your whole trip exploring and still find something new every day. Some areas I highly recommend are the nets, pools, and of course the path to the beach!
