One of my favorite places to escape the summer heat is Kennebunkport in Maine. Kennebunkport is a coastal town in New England known for delicious seafood restaurants and fishing excursions. Only an hour and a half drive from Boston, Kennebunkport is a great place for those looking to spend time by the ocean.
